First AC Hotels by Marriott opening in Melbourne

Congratulations 👏 to Mohan Du and the team from Capital Alliance as well as GM Harry Singh and the team from Marriott on the opening of Australia's very first AC Hotels by Marriott, in Melbourne's dynamic South Wharf precinct.

AC Hotels, a design-led lifestyle brand first introduced in Spain in 2011, now has 180 hotels around the world and continues to grow.

Local Melbourne firm DKO Architecture (which was also responsible for Capital Alliance’s other new Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands) designed the new hotel, which combines the renowned modern aesthetic of the global brand with the aesthetic nuances of the local city. It has a variety of stunning lifestyle and event spaces as well as a large modern co-working space by day that transforms into a social hub serving European-style tapas by night.
